Central Fabrication
Momentum Health Technologies offers central fabrication of custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using top quality thermoplastics, composites and expert manufacturing techniques. Our focus is providing highest quality devices with dependable fabrication time and competitive pricing. We also offer an extensive cast modification service. Our goal is to help fabricate to your needs so that you can focus on your patients. We cater to your preferences of materials, designs, componentry, trim lines, and finishes. Common devices fabricated at MHT include spinal orthoses, ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) and knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFOs), as well as trans-tibial and trans-femoral sockets (check and definitive).
Carving
Momentum Health Technologies provides efficient, cost-effective carving solutions for customers of all CAD/CAM systems, Australia wide. We use industry-leading carver technology to produce high-fidelity carvings accurate to within a fraction of a millimeter. Our carving robots translate your computerised 3D image into a real-world 3D foam mould, for use in traditional draping and lamination manufacturing. We use high-density polyurethane foam which is 15-20 times lighter than plaster, yet dense enough to withstand deformation during manufacturing. Available foam carving options include prosthetic sockets, upper limb and lower limb, spinal, AFO, KAFO and cranial shapes.
CAD/CAM
Momentum Health Technologies are proud to be the Australian distributors for Qwadra CAD/CAM systems. MHT provide all technical support, sales, installations, and training for Qwadra products in Australia & surrounding regions. No more waiting for plaster to set! With CAD CAM you can modify your shapes instantly without the need for expensive plaster processing rooms. Carvings can be reproduced quickly and easily, eliminating the need for cast storage or time-consuming shape duplication. Casts are stored digitally, saving space within workshops and clinics.
